3D Printable Relief Keychain — 2D Image to 3D CAD
Transformed a 2D graphic concept into an accurate, highly detailed 3D printable relief keychain model in SolidWorks. The design features multi-tiered extruded typography (ROBOKSK / FLL UNEARTHED), intricate mining equipment reliefs (pickaxe, shovel, crystals, nautilus shell), reinforced keyring loop, and optimized draft angles for FDM and SLA 3D printing.

Engineering Challenge
Converting a flat 2D graphic image into a physically functional 3D printable object required establishing distinct depth hierarchies, preventing fragile overhangs, and ensuring delicate text and geometric reliefs withstand real-world keychain wear.
Applied CAD & DFM Solution
Reconstructed parametric sketch splines in SolidWorks with multi-plane boss extrusions, split-line surface offsets, and tapered draft fillets. Designed a structural base backing and reinforced integral lanyard ring loop with zero non-manifold edges for seamless STL slicer parsing.
